NPCIL Recruitment 2024 – Salary Details
Under the recruitment 2024 the salary of the Executive Trainee is mentioned as –
Stipend during Training – ₹ 55,000/- per month (One time Book Allowance – ₹ 18,000/-, mandatory Lodging & Boarding– In accommodation as provided by NPCIL)
After successful training, the employee as appointed as Scientific Officer/ C in Group ‘A’ Pay Level 10 ₹ 56,100/- Pay Matrix.
NPCIL Recruitment 2024 – Educational Qualification and Eligibility
According to the recruitment 2024 educational qualification for the posts are –
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engineering) / 05 years Integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
The candidates must have a valid GATE 2022 or GATE 2023 or GATE 2024 Score in concerned engineering discipline.

Selection Process –
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their Gate score , then they will have to go through a Personal Interview and then Documents Verification.
i. For Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) scheme: Candidates will have to complete a specialized internship program at one of NPCIL’s Nuclear Training Centers (NTCs) within one year.
ii. For Light Water Reactor (LWR) scheme: Candidates will have to complete a specialized internship program at the Kundankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP) site, located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, which includes an internship at one of NPCIL’s Nuclear Training Centers (NTCs) within one year.
iii. Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation subjects: Candidates can choose either the Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) scheme or the Light Water Reactor (LWR) scheme. These subjects must be indicated during the online application under the desired scheme.
iv. Civil Engineering subjects: Candidates cannot choose the Light Water Reactor (LWR) scheme.
v. NPCIL’s authority over internships, placements, and training in Nuclear, Thermal, and Hydropower is confirmed.

- Open, the official website of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL) i.e. https://www.npcilcareers.co.in/.
- Find the apply online link for ‘NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024′.
- Now, candidates need to first enter their GATE registration number along with the date of birth, category, candidate’s name, mobile number (one that was provided in the GATE application), e-mail ID, etc.
- After entering the details, candidates will receive an activation link on the registered e-mail ID. Click on the respective link to complete the registration.
- Now, the candidates are required to log in using the login ID and password and enter the information like GATE exam details such as score & registration number, candidate’s personal details, educational details, etc., then the documents are to be uploaded, candidates must preview the application form and correct the information if required.
- After submitting the application form, an application number will be generated. This number is to be kept safe with the candidates till the end of the recruitment process.
- Now, the candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee through the payment gateway.
- After the payment, candidates’ registration for the recruitment is completed.
